Independence Plus
In keeping with Westhills Village’s philosophy, Independence Plus is a comprehensive private pay program designed to help keep clients comfortably independent and in their own homes as long as possible. By taking advantage of the Independence Plus program and its trained staff members, clients can continue to focus and participate in their social events and hobbies rather than on the responsibilities of daily living.
Because the options are easily tailored to your particular requests, these extra in-home care services also free family members and loved ones from worry and from the need, for example, to transport clients to and from doctor’s visits. Using Independence Plus services is also the most cost-effective option, as it allows Residents to pick and choose those services they really desire.
Services range from hands-on caretaking and health management to simple, nurturing companionship. These scheduled services may be temporary or on-going and are adjusted as dictated by evolving needs. All services are available to the community at large, regardless of age or residency, in the Rapid City and surrounding metro areas.
While urgent calls take precedence, requests for transportation are usually fulfilled within 24-48 hours. Transportation to medical appointments and other engagements may be arranged by calling the Reception Desk. Our regular van runs Monday through Friday. Availability, hours and fees, which depend upon time and mileage, are available at the Reception Desk. A 24-hour notice is greatly appreciated.
