Josh has been a dedicated part of our community at Clarkson Healthcare for many years, where he has grown in his career thanks to his hard work and commitment to excellence.
Josh began his career in healthcare at the age of 16, working in his first skilled nursing facility. After joining our team at Clarkson Healthcare, he broadened his experience by completing the Medication Aide course. 15 years as a CNA laid the foundation for Josh in the medical field, leading him to earn his Practical Nursing degree in 2016. After working as a floor nurse for some time Josh received a promotion and became a Clinical Care Coordinator at Clarkson Healthcare. In 2022, he achieved another milestone by becoming a Registered Nurse. Josh now has amassed 28 years of invaluable experience in the medical field.
In addition to his extensive hands-on experience, Josh holds additional certifications that enhance his capabilities. His Regulatory Affairs Certification (RAC) will be instrumental in ensuring that our healthcare practices meet and exceed all required regulations. Additionally, as we all continue to navigate the challenges of COVID-19, his Infection Prevention Certification equips Josh with the knowledge to effectively protect our residents and staff.
Josh is passionate about helping those in need, viewing nursing as a great way to fulfill that calling. As he said, “Nursing chose me; I did not choose it.” Josh would like our residents and their families to know, “I am grateful for all the opportunities I have received and look forward to this new journey at Health Care.”
When Josh is not here at Westhills Village, he is spending his time off with his lovely wife, Alexandra, and their three dogs. They enjoy experiencing the beauty of our world by camping and traveling.
