The Courtyard at Westhills Village Welcomes New Life Enrichment Coordinator
The Westhills Village team is excited to welcome Alissa Scott to her new role as Life Enrichment Coordinator at The Courtyard assisted living facility. With a background in caregiving, a personal connection to Westhills Village, and a passion for serving others, Alissa brings both experience and genuine dedication to the position.
Building on a Foundation of Care and Community
Alissa began her healthcare career in 2023 as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA). During her time as a CNA, she had the opportunity to build relationships with patients while providing compassionate, hands-on care. This experience will be a valuable asset as she transitions into her new role that is focused on creating engaging and enriching opportunities for Courtyard residents.
Alissa’s connection to Westhills Village goes beyond work. She also has family that lives at Westhills, giving her an even deeper understanding of the community and the importance of making residents feel welcomed and valued.
A Heart for Enriching the Lives of Others
In her new position, Alissa will help residents enjoy activities and experiences that improve their wellbeing and encourage connection and fun. In her free time, she enjoys plenty of hobbies of her own, including reading, Pilates, thrift shopping, interior decorating, and spending time with her loved ones. She also volunteers at Placerville Church Camp every year, reflecting the same spirit of service and community that she brings to The Courtyard.
Please join us in welcoming Alissa to her new role and wishing her all the best as she begins this new chapter!
